This wonderful five bedroom country house gives a warmth and reflects the fact it is in Ibiza without creating a pastiche. There are four bedrooms on the ground floor which have fabulous views [this includes the master] and then there is the one in the basement which has plenty of natural light. The basement is a suite with a 160cm bed in the main room and childrens bunks in an annex and walk in wardrobe, there is also an amazing cinema room in the basement.

With its light spaces and textures in finish are both just as important from inside the house as they are outside too! Step inside THE FINCA and you will instantly feel at home. While reflecting the island standards for sleek, modern and new, this escape maintains a feeling of authenticity through the materials used in both construction and styling and is the very epitome of bohemian modernity.

The design achieves an organic feel and gives the house soul. Using natural materials the design gives a nod to the traditional Ibicencan finca with its thick walls, cosy nooks, chimney snugs, skylights, hand finished edges and angled lines to create this simple calm environment with a pared back luxury.

Outside the old mountain terrace walls have been restored and additional ones in the traditional style formed to create new fig and lemon tree terraces while lavender and rosemary meadows circle around the house. With the flowerbeds with meadow-like flowers right up to the windows and terraces there is then the courtyard which is a more formal garden space and provides a sheltered area to relax on a summer evening.

This private property is set on the top of a hill and enjoys a cool but welcome breeze. Set in 30,000 square metres but only 10 minutes from Ibiza town. It is a private estate with no immediate neighbours allowing complete privacy for guests. With its breathtaking sea views across the island, morning sunrise and evening sunsets are amazing from both inside as well as outside the house - everything is catered for!

THE FINCA really is a house for indoor and outdoor enjoyment with the doors opening fully, so that the outdoors joins seamlessly with the indoor space. With a covered terrace and dining room, pool chill out area and walled courtyard this property is perfect for evening soirees with dining, seating and an outdoor cinema area back up with a great all round sound systems! The 17m infinity pool has a beach area and infinity paddling area too. The house and grounds are entirely at your disposal including a great children's play area with trampoline, zip wire, rope swing and table tennis.

The property has a long private driveway and plenty of parking and close to a lovely village and an easy drive to anywhere on the island due to its unique central location. Please note there is daily cleaning, plus gardener and pool cleaner.

For the pantry - there is Ibiza organic wine and balsamic vinegar from Can Rich, salt from Salinas, Ibiza honey B-Ibiza, artesan olive bread and a selection of fruit from Santa Gertrudis and some cheese and sausages from Campatage Ibiza.

This local charming village lies on the geographical middle point of the island, and is very aptly a much-loved meeting point for both locals and adopted locals. At the geographical heart of the island, THE FINCA is located near a village with a cluster of bars, restaurants and shops, whilst in the rich agricultural landscape all around, live sheep, goats and the island's only dairy cows.

It's also a home from home for many new residents from Europe and beyond. Many artists, sculptors and musicians have settled here over the years and their works are everywhere – in galleries and most famously in the Bar Costa where penniless artists in the hippy era would swap paintings for food and now hanging art competes with hanging hams for space.

The area has expanded rapidly but carefully over the last few years. Smart modern villas now line the new streets, the village square has had a makeover and is now a pedestrian friendly plaza and new, hip café bars and restaurants have joined traditional Ibicenco establishments as the village's eatery scene achieved critical mass.

Any time of day is just perfect for a visit to the local village. With arts and crafts shops, galleries, and an eclectic mix of clothing and accessories there's plenty of retail therapy to be had before and after morning coffee, lunch, afternoon 'merienda' or dinner.

Try the Musset Cafe for morning coffee and freshly baked bread, Bar Costa for delicious jamon serrano, Manchego cheese and crackling log fires in winter, Es Canto for traditional hearty fare, Bacchus for modern cuisine and lunchtime special menus, or for a special meal in the evening La Plaza.

The local village is also home to the international book shop Libro Azul, with English editions and a great choice of beautiful photography works. In Casi Todo there are auctions once or twice a month in English and Spanish, where everything from unwanted items, trinkets, furniture, paintings and real antiques are sold to the highest bidder!
