On its doorstep is the town of Sarteano, convenient for shops and bars and close to the medieval hilltop towns of bustling Montepulciano, famous for its Vino Nobile, Pienza, where local tradition thrives amongst spectacular architecture and Montalcino, at the core of the wine estates.

Set in the midst of this 500 acre award winning wine estate, this escape features a superb 17 x 7m heated swimming pool and 6000 square metres of extensive lawns and well manicured garden running into the very vineyards that make the estate famous! That is not all THE TUSCANY also has its own vegetable garden that supplies the house with wonderful fresh produce. The outdoor dining patio seats up to 14 and is a superb place to sit and take in the wonderful surrounding countryside views.

The interiors are a classic combination of rustic features with modern design that work well to create this superb country escape. The six large bedrooms spread over two floors are all en suite and come with their own dressing rooms. In addition there are two very comfortable sitting rooms, a dining area that can seat as many as 20 guests and a superbly well equipped kitchen. The whole house is air conditioned and also provides heating for those wanting to experience this amazing part of the world off season. Nothing has been forgotten - from high speed Wi-Fi to hairdryers in all the bathrooms, Satellite television and a PC and printer for guests use. The villa even comes with its own GPS device to help you explore the area!

Also included in the price is daily housekeeping with 2 linen changes per week and garden and pool maintenance [an option of a daily buffet breakfast can also be arranged]. There is an extremely nice English speaking concierge on call for guests and our local team will be happy to take you on a tour of the estate. For those wanting catering at the villa [meals for under 6's are free of charge] we can also arrange an excellent chef by prior request.

The nearst town Sarteano is in the heart of Italy, midway between Florence and Rome. It is ten minutes far from the entrance of A1 highway and fifteen minutes from the railway station in Chiusi. Sarteano is located in a place where the wild beauty of Val d'Orcia and the populated Val di Chiana join together. In the meantime it is an island of pure air, silence, biodiversity, archaeological treasures, hospitality and last but not least, it has got a water which naturally flows at 24°C . Sarteano is the ideal place for your holidays in tuscany. You will also be able to give vent to different passions: horseriding, trekking, cycling, archaeology, medieval history, nature.
