THE ESCAPE

There are three decks - a dining deck with large grill on the ground floor, a mezzanine deck off bedrooms with solar oculus and a full floor roof deck with 360 degree ocean views with an outdoor fireplace, lounge seating and dining area and to top it all a 7 person hot tub … what more do you need!

Location
Settled in the mid-17th century, Quogue [where the property is located] is part of the greater Westhampton area and is one of the oldest communities on Long Island. Today, thanks to the stately Victorians nestled along its tree lined streets and the contemporary mansions along the ocean on Dune Road, Quogue is one of the most desirable residential areas in the Hamptons and offers a relaxed and friendly experience for visitors. Just to the east is East Quogue, which was settled in 1686 and was originally known as Fourth Neck. With acres of farmland and pine forests, a beautiful bay, and ocean beaches, it is enlivened by the world class Main Street dining and the seasonal influx of visitors.

East Quogue is a hamlet [an unincorporated area] and located in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. It is within the town of Southampton. East Quogue is one of the smallest residential areas in the well known “Hamptons.” The community is approximately 10 minutes from Westhampton and 15 minutes from Southampton.  Most of the resident ancestries were Italian, Irish, German, Polish, and English. The community has beautiful old style homes,  a town boat ramp, beaches, and old fashioned shops. The ocean bays also provide lots of opportunities for swimming, fishing, boating, water skiing, and windsurfing. Historic sites and museums include the Old School House Museum that is said to be the largest and best in Suffolk County. The museum is a collection of remnants of Quogue’s early history.
