THE VILLA AMARAPURA Situated in the luxurious vacation haven of Cape Yamu on Phuket’s serene eastern coastline, overlooking the Andaman Sea, Villa Amarapura is a 7-bed contemporary villa vision. Built in 2016, Villa Amarapura combines the must-have elements of luxury holiday villa rentals, including six staff, and adds stunning features and upscale qualities. The result is chic, glamorous, and comfortable retreat relaxation in superior style.

The villa’s two glorious infinity pools on different levels are incredible, as are the super-king beds in two of the rooms, with all rooms promising gorgeous sea, pool or garden views. One room is housed in an ultra-modern, white-cube bungalow, down a stepping-stone path.

The bathrooms have star quality with wonderfully rounded freestanding tubs and avant-garde design elements adding the ‘wow’ factor. An over-the-pool deck, two Jacuzzis, and wooden nest seats give the outdoor space a trendy feel, highlighting the incredible design of Villa Amarapura.

In the evening, spectacular architecture of the villa’s atrium living room lights up with magical starlight chandeliers, while the bedrooms relax with a natural, Scandinavian look. Splashes of modern, artistic design add a funky, interesting energy.

The villa boasts a cinema, TV room, and lounge, as well as a full kitchen. Dining is divine with a breakfast bar, kitchen dining area and grand atrium dining too, with al fresco meals savored in the poolside sala.

Relaxation is inspired along with engaging activities at Villa Amarapura. A games room includes a high-tech golf simulation game and a pool table, while outdoors practice your golf swing on the villa’s putting green. Best vacation ever

We had the absolute best vacation at this gorgeous property. Everything was perfect. I have rented many many houses and villas over the years and by far, was the most responsive and considerate of all that I have rented. Arranged for daily cleaning and a chef to come twice. The experience could not have been better and the house is even better than it looks in the pictures. Its a gorgeous, magazine-spread-worthy home. As a Senior Vice President at The New York Times i have travelled the world and was seriously impressed, we cant wait to return!

Seaside Paradise

Portuguese paradise. Ten minute walk to a sparkling clean and uncrowded beach and easy access to the small town for shopping and dining. The house itself is tastefully appointed with a homey warmth, no details were spared, including cozy blankets everywhere, indoor and outdoor dining spots, pool toys, beach towels, fully equipped kitchen and so much more. The roof top pool was perfect for post-beach/pre-dinner cocktails!  We had reserved bikes that were waiting in the drive on arrival, arranged for a massage therapist to visit the house for massages, and helped with difficult restaurant reservations in Lisbon. The house is perfectly situated for a family vacation, enough community space for everyone to gather but then also enough individual space for each to have time alone. 

We will return!

“Great house, great location, great holiday”
We stayed at THE BAY on our 3rd trip to Barbados having stayed at Royal Westmoreland in previous years. We had high expectations given the photos and were not disappointed. As it turns out, the photos don’t do the house full justice. 

This is a unique house which we struggled to fault at all. In total we consisted of 6 adults and 2 kids and not once did we feel that we struggled for space. The house is very open and airy and set in a location which captures fantastic views and a nice breeze throughout the day and night. As the other reviews state you couldn’t get much better in terms of location. Short drive to Holetown one way and Mullins another short drive the other way. At the bottom of the hill is a great beach too.
